Welcome to Her Grief, Her Strength
Grieving Loudly. Living Boldly.
A nonprofit rooted in love, built by grieving moms, and powered by community.
Weβre here for the parents holding the heaviest stories, the ones grieving children, diagnoses, futures they imagined, and still showing up with aching hearts and fierce hope.
This isnβt just a space. Itβs a movement. And you belong here.

we are HGHS
Weβre more than a support group.
Weβre a nonprofit community built by and for parents navigating deep grief, complex medical journeys, and life after unimaginable loss.
Founded by two med moms turned advocates, Her Grief, Her Strength offers connection, resources, and real talk for those grieving loudly and living boldly. Whether youβre in the thick of medical parenting, missing a child, or learning to carry a grief no one else sees, we hold space for it all.
You Can Be Her Strength
Your donation makes an immediate difference in the lives of the women we serve. Whether it helps us cover the cost of sending a care package to a newly grieving mom, or offsetting travel expenses for a family seeking out-of-state care, every dollar is felt.
Giving financially is the most effective way to support our work.
Community amplifies compassion. Hosting a fundraiser, can be a beautiful way to honor a loved one while rallying others around our mission.

Her Grief, Her Strength was born from the hardest seasons of our lives. We are both βmedical momsβ whoβve walked the unbearable paths of watching our children suffer and, for Rachel, of losing her daughter, Cassie. What started as voice notes and late-night texts between two moms trying to surviveβ¦ became a lifeline. Then a passion project.
